Having different names throughout the year, Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort has been in the ski resort business since the 1950s. It connects with Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park at the top and shares a ski lift ticket. The resort features two main areas the Toomi and Limori, which has exciting courses for all level of skiers. Also, during good weather condition, you’ll have a wondrous and up-close view of the Goryu-dake and Karamatsu-dake. Apart from the slopes, it has many other facilities, such as equipment rental for skiers and snowboarders, cafes and restaurants, a ski school, and two parks for kids.

5. Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium

Located a few blocks away from Nakiyama lift bus stop, Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium is one of the most popular landmarks in the area for it was the venue of the ski jumping events during the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. And, up to now, it still holds more world level ski jumping competitions. For a small fee, you can see everything the stadium has to offer from the mammoth 120 m (0.075 mi) and 90 m (0.055 mi) jumps up to the top of both jumps. You could also ride the ski lifts and watch the expert skier jumps and showcase skills through skiing exhibitions and tricks.

It is located at the end of Hakuba Valley and is relatively small compared to the other ski resorts in the area.
