2. Falls Creek
Falls Creek is another resort town in the Victorian Alps, Australia, well-known for its winter sports activities that can be enjoyed at elevations of 1,500 to 1,780 metres (4,921 to 5,840 feet). The area has about 92 kilometres (57 miles) of slopes suitable for snowboarding and various other winter sports. Situated at an elevation of 1,749 metres (5,738 feet) above sea level, Mt Stirling transforms into a majestic playground for outdoor enthusiasts in the winter. At Mt Stirling Alpine Resort, visitors can enjoy a range of winter sports as the slopes of the mountain are blanketed in pristine white snow. Alongside forested trails to explore, there are also sports activities like skiing, snowshoeing and snowboarding that can be experienced here. Similar to other alpine resorts, this place also offers snowboarding lessons. Riders have full access to the untouched terrain of the Summit and the Stanley Bowl area, where exciting runs await them. Since there are no lifts here, riders have to be physically prepared to ascend to the top, but the hike is a picturesque one.
