Enjoy the thrilling rides and slides

Suraj Water Park boasts a whopping 16 slides, which include the incredible Rainbow Slide, Ulat Palat, Shiv Ganga, Dhadkan (Heartbeat), Ding-Dong, Sing-a-Song, and Labak and Zabak. The Rainbow Slide is a vertical one, and is home to India’s first ‘16 slides on a single tower’. Ding Dong and Sing-a-Song are two more vertical slides, where you zip down circular pipes, while the colorful Ulat Palat (literally 'disarray’) is one wild up and down ride. If you’re feeling particularly romantic, then go for the couples’ Dhadkan slide, the only one in India.

Have fun at the wave pool

One of the most popular attractions in Suraj Water Park is the wave pool, which is like a swimming pool with waves of varying sizes. You can also chill out at the ‘Crazy River’ near the pool, which is similar to a wild river gushing and meandering around the park . However, if you prefer something more laid-back, then the “Lazy River” allows you to simply float around on tubes.

Travel tips

Protection from the sun

Since the water park is an open one and you’re going to play around in the water, you don’t want your skin to tan or burn. So, carry a tube of sunscreen and lotion along with you to replenish at regular intervals. You might also want to consider carrying a hat. Most importantly, keep hydrating on time. Since you’re going to be around for hours, it’s easy to forget to drink water amidst all that fun, and that can leave you dehydrated.

Swimming clothes and costumes

Since Suraj Water Park doesn’t rent costumes, it’s best to pack your own swimming costume from home. Also, pack towels and an extra set of clothes, in case the ones you’re carrying get wet.
