The 5th Avenue Theatre is Seattle’s most famous venue for musicals and touring Broadway shows, and attracts over 300,000 visitors annually. Make sure to buy tickets ahead of time to get the best pick of seats; however, day-of tickets may also be available if you arrive early enough. Grab your tickets, grab your date, and enjoy a relaxing night of theatre.

Located in the quieter part of Capitol Hill, this park is easy to get to, and has ample street parking available at no cost (a rarity in Seattle). Bring your special someone, pack some coffee and a blanket, and enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountain Range as the sun peeks over the mountain tops.

4. Pick out the prettiest fresh-cut flowers at Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market is known for being one of the most popular tourist attractions in Seattle. With its bustling gift shops, mouth-watering food stalls, and live music echoing through the streets, who wouldn’t want to visit? As you and your love interest stroll through the market, make sure to stop and smell the roses (literally). One of the best parts of Pike Place is the never-ending stalls of freshly cut flowers. Outdoorsy couples - this one’s for you. Discovery Park is the ideal place to go if you’re looking for an adventurous, yet romantic date. Located in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, this park has over 11 miles (17.7 km) of walking trails and stunning views of the Puget Sound. Pack a lunch and your favorite drinks and hit the trail with your date. The most popular South Beach Trail is about a 2-mile (3.2 km) trek down to the beach where you’ll find a small but beautiful lighthouse, and plenty of space to lay down a blanket and catch the sunset. The trail is fairly steep, so be sure to wear appropriate attire and footwear, and allow plenty of time to make it back up the trail before it gets too dark.

7. Enjoy the best views of Seattle from the top of the Space Needle

You can’t visit Seattle without making a stop at the iconic Space Needle. Whether you make reservations at the SkyCity Restaurant, or simply pay to take the elevator ride to the top, the view from the Space Needle will be something you’ll remember forever, not to mention it’s the perfect romantic setting for a first kiss or even a marriage proposal. General admission tickets range from 14 - 22 USD depending on age, and will grant you an elevator ride to the observation deck, where you can enjoy the view for as long as you’d like. To get the most bang for your buck, make a reservation to dine at SkyCity, the restaurant that sits at the top of the Space Needle. The cost of your meal covers your ride to the top, and you’ll also have access to the observation deck.
