Fiji is home to plenty of great scuba diving destinations for beginners and advanced divers. For beginners, there are plenty of opportunities to dive along Fiji’s famous soft coral reefs with hundreds of fish alongside you. For advanced divers, there are shipwrecks, swim-throughs, caves, and the chance to dive with bigger marine life such as manta rays and sometimes whale sharks or hammerheads, if you are more daring. Fiji travelers who don’t have their scuba license can easily get it at the island with affordable beginner courses.

Relax and pamper your skin while getting dirty in a mud bath. There are two different mud baths and they are both next to the Sleeping Giant Mountain. To take in the full effect, smother yourself from head to toe in mud and wait for the sun to dry it for the most benefits. Then wash off in the showers provided after getting in mud fights with your family and friends.

5. Drink Kava with the locals
Travelers cannot say they have been to Fiji unless they have tried the local delicacy of the Kava drink. When you meet any Fijian they will encourage you to try Kava. It is best to participate in Kava ceremony or casually drink the Kava with the locals with high tide or low tide (full cup or half). The drink is for only adults due to its alcohol like effects. Some vacationers will love Kava and some may want to keep to the low tide, but nevertheless it is a must-try in Fiji.
