Located 26 km (16 miles) west of Kuwait City, Kuwait Entertainment City has the honour of being the first as well as and largest amusement park in northern Kuwait’s Al Doha area. Kuwait Entertainment City offers a complete range of entertainment for families who have children, including a narrow-gauge railway and a massive Bolliger & Mabillard roller coaster - some things that weren’t ever seen in amusement and theme parks in the Middle East. Currently, Entertainment City is closed for major renovations and will open with a brand-new makeover by the end of 2021.

2. Kuwait Magic Park

Located 36 km (22 miles) south of Kuwait City right on the Persian Gulf, Kuwait Magic Park lies right next to the state-of-the-art Kuwait Magic Mall. This vast, affordable entertainment amusement park for children features a host of indoor and outdoor rides, along with a play area for kids - and priced at almost half of the rides one would find in Kuwait Magic Mall right next door. Some of the most notable rides include a rainbow roller coaster, pirate ship, swings train, Viking wheel, trampolines, a music express, bumper boats, and more. The beach is also right outside, making it a great day for picnicking and fun.

Located on Tunisia Street in the Hawally area of Kuwait City around 7 km (4.3 mi) south of the city centre, Hawally park is one of Kuwait City’s most popular amusement parks. With it located in the heart of the city, Hawally Park makes for a great getaway for the day to not only spend time with your children but also make sure they have their share of fun. Some of Hawally Park’s major rides include Ferris Wheel, family train, crazy dance, the family roller coaster, bumper rides, pirate ship, rainbow wheel, spinning, Tomahawk, water jumping and water slides, among others. P.S.: Entrance is free, and rides need to be paid for individually.

Located in the Al Jahra area of Kuwait around 43 km (26.7 miles) west of Kuwait City, Slayil Al Jahra Park ‘The 99’ Village offers more than 20 rides for the amusement and fun of families with children, especially in the age group of 5 to 14 years of age. Most of the rides are based on The 99 comic series, which feature a superhero team with special abilities based on the 99 attributes of Allah in Islam. Rides are named such - the 99 Tower of Power, Jabbar’s Rollin’ Adventure, 99 Rolling Gems, Journey of the Noor Stones, Jabbar’s Chariot Riders, etc. With the park being located just 100 km (62 mi) from the border of Saudi Arabia, the park sees lots of crowds during holidays and the weekend.

Suitable for children of all ages, Kids Village features a host of entertainment and play areas and rides, including trampolines, ball pits, and even a train for enjoying rides throughout the park. The theme park also features multiple options for food and beverages, making it a great place to spend half a day with your children in Kuwait City.
