1. Night Views of Busan
Posted by The bay 101 on Thursday, 11 September 2014
All locals know the coolest things to do on the weekend are also the free things! So why not head over to Bay 101 or Busan Tower, around sunset or later, and check out the view? Photo ops abound at Bay 101, but you can also hangout with friends, go on a date, grab dinner or a coffee or just admire the beauty of the Busan coastline.
Both options are great, but if you want a larger perspective, head up to the Busan Tower, where you can get a 360 Busan night view since Bay 101 only provides a waterfront view. If you are looking for some delicious and affordable seaside dining, however, you should head to Bay 101 which has some shops, as well as restaurants and dessert places to enjoy, along the water!

2. Haeundae Beach
Posted by Sharon Choi on Wednesday, 10 May 2017
A favorite during long summer days, as well as year round, Haeundae Beach continues to be a local favorite hangout. It could be because the beach is clean, free and easy to reach by metro. Not to mention that some of the best nightlife and bars are in this area, as well as western restaurants and an abundance of hotels lining the streets! There really is no reason not to head here!
If on a budget, you can always head to the beach with a group of friends and bring your own drinks in a cooler, to keep costs down. Just make sure to clean up after yourselves or the fines are a hefty penny!

3. Boat cruise
Posted by 黃信凱 on Friday, 18 November 2016
If you love the ocean, why not take a boat cruise around the coast of South Korea? Many other areas of South Korea can’t offer this type of activity, but Busan can! Enjoy Busan’s seaside, on a luxury yacht trip to different islands or just around the coast. Hop on a boat to bask in Busan’s most popular destinations such as Gwangan Bridge, Haeundae, Gwangalli and Igidae.
Multiple companies offer cruises to these areas, so feel free to price check around. The best cruise company we found was Tiffany 21 - also the most popular night cruise line. With Tiffany 21 you can indulge in maritime romance by taking a high-end yacht around Busan’s coast. This way you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Busan, right from the ocean! A pretty ingenious plan, since cruises start at only 45 USD!

A popular expat hangout, Crossroads Bar is a great place to hang out and mix or mingle. Every night they have a happy hour from 7-8 pm, with vodka, gin or rum cocktails from only 3,000 won (1.50 USD)! For those on a budget, this is a way you can party all night, for cheap, and then head to the beach after! They also have open mic nights and weekly events. They don’t have a website so check their Facebook page for the most up to date events and photos!

This cozy, friendly and well-located beach bar sits right on the sand side of Haeundae Beach and gets a lot of business. Young locals flock to it for its easy location and good drink deals (for the area), while tourists flock to it for the beach setting and the outgoing staff. You can hang out on their second-floor rooftop and people watch below, or watch the waves while sipping your cocktail!

Known for their spectacular views and handcrafted cocktails, this lounge has made a name for itself and is among the best of Busan’s nightlife. Located in the smaller and less known Gwangalli Beach, this popular spot is less of a bar and more of a lounge, which shows through its very modern decor.
They have pool tables and darts if you want some friendly competition, or tables inside and out for relaxing. Since they are open from 5 pm, all night until 3 am, this can be a jump off point or an end point to your night out in Busan!
