2. Go to the Evita Fine Arts Museum
Housed in the Ferreyra Palace, the Evita Museum of Fine Arts is a landmark that’s rich in history. The museum stands in the Nueva Cordoba neighborhood near the Sarmiento Park. Inside the museum, there are 12 exhibit halls in which numerous works are exhibited to the public. There is also a sculpture garden, a place where you’ll get to learn the history behind various sculptures. Book lovers get to indulge in the knowledge hidden inside vast collections of books at the library. The building was built between 1912 and 1916 and it narrates numerous stories. 3. Enjoy a day at the Paseo del Buen Pastor
Established as a women’s prison in the early 1900s, the Paseo del Buen Pastor was renovated and redesigned in 2005 to act as a tourist attraction. It houses a variety of activities that promote the history, culture and heritage of Argentina. There is now a shopping gallery within its precincts as well as two restaurants, bars and handicraft stalls. There’s also an art gallery where different works of arts from paintings to sculptures are exhibited. Concerts are often hosted here allowing visitors to enjoy a taste of the Argentinian culture. 4. Visit the Craffa Fine Arts Museum
The Craffa Fine Arts Museum is an iconic building, remodeled in 2006 to house an art museum that exhibits contemporary art. The result was a landmark that in itself is a work of art. Its full name is the Emilio Caraffa Museum, named after a local artist. There are nine exhibit halls which display works of art by renowned local and international artists. Not forgetting the young ones, there is a space set aside for children. Here, they can take part in a variety of activities that revolve around art.

5. Hiking in Los Gigantes
Found in the Pampa de Achala region of the Cordoba Mountains, the Los Gigantes is one adventure site you must visit. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it reveals a spectacular view of the valleys below. Aside from hiking, you can also enjoy some rock climbing or 4 by 4 off-roading if you please. Los Gigantes is also endowed with cave formations which offer a great setting for an exciting adventure. As you walk along the vistas, you’ll often spot various wildlife. 6. Historic tour of Museo Historico UNC - Manzana Jesuitica
Brimming with stories of its history, the Museo Historico will take you on a trip back in time. It’s a time when the Jesuit Missionaries inhabited Cordoba. First built in the 17th-century, the museum is the custodian of numerous books that hold a wealth of information. There’s a guided tour in which you’ll be taken through the museum and the landmarks that surround the building. These include the ancient church, monastery and the University, all of which were put up by the missionaries. 7. Watch a performance at the Del Libertador General San Martin Theater
This theater was commissioned in the late 1800s with the vision of building a concert hall with an eclectic Italianate theater. It now stands as a landmark in Cordoba, one that has hosted numerous performances over the years since its inauguration in 1891. This theater is a historical monument. Whether or not there’s a performance, a visit here is imperative if only to quell curiosity. With multiple halls within the theater, it has the capacity to host performances concurrently. Also, a part of it is a museum that showcases the institution’s vast history.

8. Tour the Cathedral of Cordoba
This Cathedral is the oldest church in Argentina to be in continuous service. This very fact warrants a trip to see the magnificent architecture of the 1700s that took close to a century to complete. It is one of Argentina’s national historic monuments standing in the heart of Cordoba as a landmark site.
