Simply known as “Hungaroring”, the major event is actually a motorsport race track that could be found in Mogyoród, Hungary. Indeed, it’s precisely this location that happened to be the place where the very first Formula One Grand Prix was held. Have you ever been in the splendid town of Gödöllői? Well, if you haven’t, then you’re hardly aware of its gorgeous Arborétum. As magical and unique as this botanical garden is, the famous Arborétum is perfectly located near the capital of Hungary. And so, visitors won’t have a hard time finding it.

Founded in 1902 by Gödöllö Forestry, the extraordinary Gödöllői Arborétum has a lot to provide its international tourists with. Indeed, the society’s desire to enrich the region’s flora led to the creation of this mind-blowing place. Today there are more than 800 types of shrubs and trees which could be explored around here.

Some say that the noteworthy Ráday Castle is indeed like a miniature version of the Gödöllö Palace designed by the same architect. 8. Erzsebet Park

Meet the wonderful Erzsebet Park which is actually dedicated to Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Indeed, this is one of the most beautiful Hungarian parks – it’s quite peaceful and deeply loved by both kids and adults. There’s a subway station right next to it, which makes it pretty accessible for newcomers. The charming park is also ideal for jogging, picnics, and other fun outdoor activities. There’s an ice cream shop around here so you can make the most of your day while enjoying fine ice cream as well. Conveniently located right at the HEV station, the lovely Erzsebet Park is a marvelous place where tourists can totally break free from the busy city.

Relax: not only is the park well maintained but it also features a whole lot of twisting woodland trails. Also, dogs are warmly welcome as long as they are on a leash.
