This huge manor used to be the residence of Robert Garmany McCrum and his family. Designed and built from 1864 to 1915, this mansion was equipped with advanced technology at the time. Aside from being the first house to make use of hydroelectricity, it is also known for its vastness. There are seven glass houses in its three walled gardens. The house was later converted to a school for girls, then a hospital. Now, it’s a place of heritage. It’s a common venue for charitable events.
