The Denizli Atatürk and Ethnography Museum is housed in an old home and it has several ethnographic items. The museum is dedicated to Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, and it was established in the year 1984. This museum, inside a two-story house, has historic importance, and Atatürk is said to have visited it in 1931. The museum has a big room that showcases rifles, swords, guns, and yatagans. Other than this, there is a flag present, which was used during the meeting of the War of Independence in 1919.

2. Marvel at the displays in Hierapolis Archaeology Museum
Hierapolis Archaeology Museum is a major tourist spot located in Pamukkale in Denizli. It is famous because it was built on the site of an erstwhile Roman bath. This attractive museum has marvelous sarcophagi from the archaeological site of Laodicea, which is in the vicinity. It also houses interesting objects like statues from the Roman era, small jewelry, stamp seals, and oil lamps from Hierapolis. In another room of the museum is a sphinx present on both sides of the entrance.

3. Visit Denizli Rag Doll House Museum

It is one of the most famous historical buildings present in Denizli. The building burned down because of a disastrous fire. After this incident, it was transformed into a Folkloric Cloth Doll Museum. The teacher, Zeynep, collected almost 500 Karaaslan or rag dolls and put them on display in the museum. Kids will enjoy a visit here. A puppet show for children is also organized with the belief that toys play a crucial role in their physical and spiritual development.
