The museum offers a fantastic insight into the American Civil War, its ramifications on the region, the life and times of notable Dickson County locals, and the railroad industry along with several others. Besides offering great insights with its many exhibits and artefacts, the museum is also one of the last remaining examples of a railroad hotel in Tennessee.
