Fano is a beach resort and town located on the Adriatic Sea, at the northern part, Le Marche region. If you want to experience Fano’s nightlife, this is the perfect chance. Head over to Pizzeria Braccino Flaminio and try its various pizzas. There are many flavors and toppings to choose from. Besides, you can choose either the one with a thick crust or thin crust. Centro Commerciale Auchan Fano, also known as Auchan, is a popular shopping mall in Fano. While you are here, you will see the huge crowds not just at the parking area but also inside the mall. If your kids are hungry or thirsty before they go to bed, drop by Sciu Sciu. This cake shop is so unique and you can have a coffee too. Apart from various delicious cakes, this shop also sells croissants, gelato, muffins, tarts, doughnuts and other delicacies. Everything is so yummy and colorful, but you must watch what you eat. Try to control what your kids want to eat too. The gelato is too tempting, you’ll feel like eating it everyday!

5. Visit Palazzo Bracci

Do you know that there is a beautiful building in Fano for you to visit? It is formerly a palace, but converted into an arts museum. Head over to Palazzo Bracci Pagani in the heart of the town and experience art, history and culture. The place houses history of ceramics, a museum of science, documentation on Ruggeri as well as contemporary art galleries.

The building was acquired by the wife of Arnolfo Pagani and Contessa Diana Bracci when the successor rights was passed to them by Piera and Gustavo, sister and brother of Arnolfo Pagani. The building occupies the seafront side of the crossroads between Via Arco d’Augusto and Corso Matteotti. Visitors will get to learn the history of this great building as well as have a closer look at the various exhibits from the Roman Empire.

6. Take a stroll along Islamorada - Dog Beach

Another place you should really see for yourself and should not miss is the Dog Beach in Fano. If you have dogs with you, take them along to this beach and spend great quality time with them. If you need a rest or nap, you can just lay down under the umbrella and let your dogs have some play time. The fine sand beach feels just like home for your pet dogs and they will really like it here. If you need any services, you can make requests with the person in charge. Among them are sun beds and umbrellas. Some of the facilities are not free of charge and you need to pay a certain amount. Kindly refer to the website.

Although it is called the “Dog Beach”, you can bring your kids too. There are plenty of play areas for them to have fun. Islamorada - Dog Beach is the perfect spot and has everything that you need for a perfect vacation. The best time to come here is during the evening to watch the sunset and cool off from the summer heat.

7. Watch performances at Teatro della Fortuna

Time for some entertainment. Why not watch some performing arts? The theatre is strategically located on the main square of Fano. So, you will not have a problem finding it. You can watch various performances here ranging from live plays, symphonic orchestra, music and many more. The entire theatre hall is so beautiful and it is best to get seats at the upper side to enjoy the panoramic view of the theatre as well as the various performances on offer.

Teatro della Fortuna survived countless wars, restoration and changes in hand since 1299. It was founded in 1299 and is a façade of the ancient Pedesta Place. Between 1665 and 1677, it was erected as a theatrical theater by Giacomo Torelli, a well-known scenotecnique fanese and scenographer. Then, it was erected yet again between 1845 and 1863 by the architect of Modena Luigi Poletti. Teatro della Fortuna reopened in 1998 under the name of Fondazione Teatro della Fortuna. Apart from watching its various performances, you also get to learn the history behind this magnificent theatre.

8. Play various games at Sport Park

If you and your family are looking for some outdoor activities or sports, check out the Sport Park in Fano. It is a place for the public to play games, for family gathering, events and more. Apart from that, you can also have picnics here. Choose from its various sports and games ranging from bowling, go carting, arcade gaming, and mini golf, or try the kids play area, trampolines and pool. If you are hungry or thirsty, there is a bar and restaurant at the park. So, you do not need to travel far to buy some food.
