Wild Goose State Trail is a 34 mile (54.7 km) trail that links the cities of Fond du Lac and the City of Juneau. The trail runs along an abandoned railroad and traverses through sparkling streams, fertile farmlands, and oak woodlands. There are trees on both sides of the trail, and with a nice flat gravel ground, it has what you need to cover more miles for your jog. It is clean, peaceful, and very refreshing, given that all you will be listening to as you run are the sounds of the wind blowing past the trees and the occasional chirping of birds. It is also ideal for hiking and biking by people of all ages.
