Fort Zumwalt Park is a 48-acre (19-hectare) public park, nestled around Lake Whetsel in O’Fallon, Missouri. The park features a picnic pavilion, a children’s playground with equipment and a shelter house. It also features a rebuilt version of the homestead fort of Jacob Zumwalt, the founder of O’Fallon. Visitors can enjoy plenty of pleasant walking and biking trails and fishing is available from February through October each year. The park is also the site of the city’s holiday Celebration of Lights.

18 North Central is an amusement center for groups of adults or family members, offering a range of activities and games. Tactical laser tag features AR-15 laser rifles that offer realistic sounds and a recoil, just as would be felt on the battlefield. Cybersport Demo Ball is an interactive game which can be played by up to 10 players. The game is similar to lacrosse or hockey and it also resembles bumper cars. 12. Explore the famous Krekel House

Nicolas and Arnold Krekel were German-born brothers who played an important role in founding O’Fallon. Of the two brothers, Nicolas was the one who lived in O’Fallon and called this house his home. Krekel built the house in the 1850s, facing the North Missouri Railroad and cleared the surrounding land. He later on added a general store to the first floor of the building and this later also served as a post office and possibly even a library. Nowadays, visitors can explore the home and see it as Nicolas left it.

O'Fallon Bowl opened in 1959 and it is still going strong. Besides having fun on the bowling lanes, the complex features a restaurant serving a daily lunch special between 11 am and 2 pm.
