This museum hosts one of the biggest amber exhibitions which is an out-of-the-ordinary and very fascinating thing you’ll encounter on your Puerto Plata visit. It offers very interesting tours if you would like to know more about the natural history of the island. See interesting exhibitions on fossils of insects and even learn about how amber is formed and which colors it can have. At the end of the tour, remember to head to the souvenir shop and see some jewelry made with amber.
