Om Nikhileshwar Mahadev Mandir is a famous temple in Silvassa. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The name Om comes from the shape of the temple. Aside from Lord Shiva, this temple also houses 126 other deities. The architecture of this temple never stops to wow its visitors. The construction of this 40,000 sq. ft. (3716 sqm) building started in April 2004, and it was built without steel. However, it stands on 400 pillars. The beautiful design of the temple and the peace and serenity it provides makes it a very good place to spend some time while in Silvassa. You could go and offer some prayers and enjoy a quiet time.
