This mausoleum was erected in honor of Khwaja Khizr, the son of Darya Khan, who became popular during the reign of Ibrahim Lodi. According to legends, Khwaja Khizr was a saint, but many also considered him a prophet or an angel.

This structure is made of red sandstone and the very rare ‘kankar’ blocks, and stands out with its Indo-Islamic architecture. The tomb has survived the test of time and every picture you take here will surely be memorable.
