A good way to bond as a family is to engage in fun activities together. Damodar Aquatic Center is a center that has a public swimming pool where kids and older people come to swim. The facility was originally built to host the 2003 South Pacific Games and boasts the best swimming pool on the island. Since then it has hosted several other events including Oceania Championships and National Swim Championships, among others. It can hold up to 500 people. The center gets fully lit at night and has a luxurious VIP lounge, change rooms, bathroom utilities, and a control room.

The mall features shopping boutiques, restaurants, and bars. But the most favorite feature of all is Damodar Cinema which is the main reason a lot of people visit the mall. You can buy tickets and watch the latest movie in the cinema as a family or just with your better half. If you’re hungry make sure to check out one of the on-site restaurants for some mouthwatering treats.

15. Take a tour of Government House

Government House is one of the oldest structures in Fiji and actually a major tourist attraction. Previously, it used to serve as the colonial administration headquarters in Fiji and now it is the official residence of the President of Fiji. The building features amazing structure, contemporary art decorations, and a lovely façade. You can stroll and even take pictures on the charming lawns that have been nicely manicured. The building is restricted to the public but tourists get a chance to witness the changing of the guard ceremony during the first week of each month. Those guards are usually members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

Located in a lush, tranquil environment, Suva Fiji Temple is the 91st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It features well-crafted architecture with a gilded statue of the angel Moroni, who is highly regarded by Latter-day Saints for his role in the restoration of Christ’s gospel. The interior of the temple is themed with color and design motifs inspired by the flora and the beaches of Fiji. It has an instruction room where Latter-day Saints learn about the creation of the world and God’s purpose for his people. The temple also hosts ceremonies like marriages.
