First on our list is this humongous fort also known as Fort Bacaim or Vasai. This amazing fortress in India also has a third name that is quite popular among the locals and tourists, known as Fort Bassein. It is located in the town of Vasai in Palghar district of India. This spectacular fortress has become a major tourist attraction in the Vasai area thanks to its Indo- Portuguese history. Inside, there are three chapels easily recognizable by anyone, well preserved barrel-vaulted ceilings, and a tower outside which, despite its age, still stands strong.

7. Check out the ruins of Ghodbunder Fort

Located in Ghodbunder Village, Ghodbunder Fort was built by Portuguese. The fort got its name since it was originally the place where the Portuguese traded houses with the Arabs.
