If you are more the ruins type of history lover, then check out the Hunin Castle, also known as the Fortress of Hunin. This structure dates back to the Crusades when it was originally built. Centuries later, the Ottomans updated and rebuilt the fortress. Prior to the crusades, there was a settlement on this land as far back as the Iron Age (1200 BCE to 1000 BCE). Time took pieces from this historic structure, but the earthquake of 1837 tore it down to ruins.
