9. Waterfront house
This traditional Tassie shack building offers unparalleled views of the bay and Hazards mountains in the distance. Hosting up to 5 guests, there is plenty of space for everyone in 2 bedrooms and an open plan lounge and kitchen. The lounge features oversized seats and a flatscreen television. Our highlight of this property has to be the patio spaces surrounding the building with the giant beanbag couches and perfect views.
1.93 km (1.2 mi) from Freycinet National Park
10. Airy, light-filled cottage
In contrast, this simple cottage offers a traditional style vacation rental and is the last beachfront structure before the start of the National Park. You will be right in the middle of the best of both worlds, a blend of coastal air and natural sounds. There are not a huge amount of local amenities in the direct vicinity, but there is a nice place nearby for dinner. If you wish to self-cater, there is a simple kitchenette in the property for you to use. It is worth noting that this is a place for relaxation and so there is no wifi anywhere on the property and in fact, the whole area has poor signal.

However, the views actually take in Great Oyster Bay, Nine Mile Beach and Dolphin Sands. There is plenty to do right on your doorstep, including the golf course. 12. Lovely cabin
This beautiful cabin-style accommodation is behind sand dunes and even has its own private access to the beach, which is just meters away. Banksia Cabin is actually a series of cabin rooms: the main cabin is mostly common areas such as living space, dining room and kitchen. We love the cast iron bath in this cabin! Just a few meters away is the bedroom cabin which sleeps up to three people. It’s worth noting that to go to the bathroom, you will have to leave the bedroom cabin. The design of Banksia has been laid out as such to ensure that guests can enjoy a full interaction with the outdoors. If you are looking for a unique location then this is it.
