The scenic Isle of Mull lies just off the west coast of Scotland, in the United Kingdom. The fourth largest island in Scotland, but with only a small population of just 2800 inhabitants, you can just imagine the peaceful sights and sounds of this lovely island. Many of the people live in Tobermory, the capital. The capital is also famous for its single-malt whiskey distillery. Its tourist website touts it as an attractive place for the family, where wildlife can be found at every corner. Beautiful White-tailed Sea Eagles glide across the skies, and the sea is bordered by the lush, green slopes of the Mull mountains. Ferries cross to the island at three points: Oban, Lochaline and Kilchoan. The Lochaline crossing is the cheapest option. A place full of rugged beauty, you will enjoy the Isle of Mull very much as a family vacation. Check out our list of top ten Airbnb vacation rental homes to start your stay today.
