Zeddiani is a municipality in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia. Here’s an interesting fact about the town - It holds an annual tomato festival, “La Sagra del Pomodoro”, usually on the first Sunday of August. Situated among an equestrian carousel of medieval origins, the festival begins with beautiful horses flashing harnesses with different colours and ridden by expert riders who lead them in a gallop to a star that they must pierce with a sword. The star is hanging by a thread between two trees in a road previously filled with sand.
