The Patras Lighthouse was first built in St. Nickolas Pier but was demolished in 1972. Thanks to Yiannis Dimaras, the lighthouse was rebuilt in 1999 near Saint Andrew’s Church. Built in the year 161 AD, Roman Odeon Patra is one of the wonders that the city boasts of. If you come and visit this winery, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the oldest wine in Greece, the Mavrodaphne.
