Glamping is not the only way to enjoy your vacation or romantic weekend getaway. Treehouses are a great alternative for suburban families who wish to keep their rowdy and adventurous children entertained when they’re not having fun in the city’s theme parks. These unique stays are also for people who enjoy getting a bird’s-eye view of the surroundings. Choose from a minimalist treehouse with basic amenities to a luxurious cabin with features like hot tubs and furnished patios. Regardless of the style, this list presents the best treehouse cabins in West Virginia, USA, if you’re longing for that treetop view.
Set in the middle of a 130-acres (52.60 hectares) plot of land this treehouse cabin serves as an ideal resting spot after hours of exciting activities like hiking around or hunting the resident deer that can be seen through the sliding glass doors. Pets are also allowed as long as guests remember to bring pet crates and pet toilet pads. When booked for hunting trips, the accommodation charges 150 USD per night for 2 people. A rustic and conveniently heated treehouse on a 5-acre (2.02 hectare) lot, this is a one-room cabin rental that furnishes one full (double) sized bed. Though it already has a spacious deck that’s perfect for relaxing activities like yoga or a good morning coffee, shutter windows with screens are also installed to allow the flow of natural light and fresh air. This property has lots of space below the treehouse for guests to either pitch their tents or park their RVs. The shower house just a few steps away also provides hot and cold running water, a toilet, a shower, and a wash-up sink. It should also be noted that the Greenbrier River set next to it can have different water levels based on the weather. In the rare event of extremely high water, guests receive full refunds. On a brighter note floods have only happened twice in the past 20 years.

Hotels with in-room hot tub and Airbnb rentals all offer great, comfortable stays. For an accommodation closer to nature, however, treehouses are the best.
