Shan Arcega is a Philippine-based freelance travel writer who spends her free time writing short fiction for her WordPress blog: The Writer's Court. As a starry-eyed 7-year-old, Shan dreamed about becoming a paleontologist and a veterinarian. After years of battling between these two dreams, she finally found her path in Miriam College where she graduated with a degree in Communication and her love for fiction writing grew into something she had to live and breathe. Her ultimate goal is to become one of the best Filipino fiction writers who can turn dreams (or nightmares) into reality. Nowadays, she spends extra time simultaneously writing short stories, fanfiction, and her own novel. When Shan isn't writing, she can be spotted reading manga or horror stories, watching anime, playing Pokemon, listening to music, or scaring herself with horror podcasts. Either that or she's simply sitting in bed, drowning in music while trying to figure out how to do everything all at once.
