Istanbul is the country’s economic, cultural and historic center. With an estimated 15 million residents in its metropolitan area, this city is one of the most populous cities in the world. This city is home to thousands of restaurants offering a variety of foods to help feed the city’s large population. One particular niche of food enthusiast that sometimes find it difficult to find a place to eat, is those practicing vegetarianism. Vegetarians abstain from eating meat (red meat, poultry, seafood, and the flesh of any other animal), and may also include abstention from by-products of animal slaughter. Sometimes it might not be easy for vegetarians to find a restaurant that offers vegetarian food, this is especially true when they are traveling. Have no fear because we got your back, so continue reading and have a look at our list of the best vegetarian restaurants in Istanbul, Turkey.
