Enjoy the amazing rides

Water Kingdom is home to not one, but two fabulous pools, namely Lagoon and Wetlantic. The latter is an incredible wave pool and also the most visited section of the park. Sprinkled with fountains, towers, and caves, the pool is famous for its gentle and rolling waves, and is very popular with families. Also, this pool has lifeguards standing by. Lagoon, on the other hand, is the country’s largest aqua pool and has 10 different rides for different age groups. There’s also a huge elephant bucket that keeps splashing water every five minutes.

Finally, don’t miss what is India’s tallest vertical drops, What-A-Coaster. The seven-story slide to the bottom not only gets your pulse racing but also guarantees a heady rush. So much so, that you’ll be glad you got on it.

Go dancing in the rain

Behold Bratzone, another section of the park that’s wildly popular with everyone. Why? Because it’s one big wet dance party! Suitable for both kids and adults, this place is a dedicated rain dance area. It has water sprinklers splashing water all over a snazzy and groovy dance floor, with laser lights and pulsating dance music in the background. What’s more, it even has a shallow pool perfect for toddlers.

Take a break and grab a bite

If you think that you don’t have food options within Water kingdom, then think again! If you’re interested in biryani, wraps and rolls, and burgers, then there’s Food Wharf. Dig into scrumptious Chinese fare at Taipan, or relish fast food items at Hunger Thrill. What’s more, there are lots of food kiosks to literally suit every palate and mood. So, every once in a while, take a break and load up on the energy reserves by tucking into excellent food at these places.

Tickets and entry

There are different types of passes and tickets available for visitors. So, make sure to check your pass/ticket properly to redeem it to the fullest. In addition, you need to have a valid ID to enter the park.

Food and swimming costumes

Just like other swimming pools and water parks, you’re not allowed to enter unless you have a proper swimming costume with you. Ideally, your costume should be made from water-absorbing and quick-drying materials such as lycra or nylon. This is done for not only maintaining uniformity but also hygiene and safety. Also, no outside food or beverages are allowed inside the park.

Best time to visit

Although the park stays open until 6:30 p.m., you’ll need a full day to explore its rides and enjoy to the fullest. So, plan accordingly and arrive early for making the most of this place.
