The entire waterfall scenic view is 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) long. Once every year, the waterfall is known to show a remarkable phenomenon where it produces a rumbling noise before it starts flooding the area and covering it with sweeping mists and vast amounts of foam.

6. Zhaga Waterfall in Songpan County
Known as the largest travertine waterfall in China, Zhaga Waterfall is the most famous waterfall in Mounigou Valley. People visit the waterfall for its beautiful display of water plunging through the colorful rock cliff before falling to the multistep waterbed. The waterfall is 35 meters (114.8 feet) high and 93.2 meters (305.7 feet) wide. Around the vicinity, visitors may visit the nearby bamboo forest where meeting rare padas is always a possibility.

Are you looking for a more strenuous activity than just hiking your way to a waterfall? If so, then Gudong Waterfall is a place you’ll want to visit. This popular climbing waterfall is actually composed of eight falls and nine pools interconnected to each other. People visit the area to experience climbing the waterfall, where the opposing current will be meet them throughout the ordeal. Although physically taxing, after climbing through the waterfall, visitors are greeted with a calm and gentle pool where they can relax and snap some great photos.
