The Westin in Downtown Cleveland is perfectly situated for walking to restaurants, parks, shopping and to the stadiums of Cleveland’s popular professional sports teams. The beds are luxurious, and the staff goes the extra mile to ensure a delightful stay.

A respected hotel brand that goes beyond expectations

Westin exterior

From the moment you walk into the lobby of the Westin Cleveland Downtown and head to the reception desk, you’ll find staff members who go beyond what is normally expected with their friendliness and helpful attitudes. After you check-in, a clerk will double-check that you found everything in order and that your needs are met.

A large lobby area is perfect for meeting clients or friends, and a busy restaurant, the Urban Farmer, is conveniently ready to refuel and refresh the guests.

A daily newspaper awaits, as well as bell staff and valet attendants.

Extra comfort combined with helpful amenities

The sumptuous beds in the Westin guest rooms practically rock its weary travelers to sleep. The bedding and mattresses are welcome for those who visit for business or for leisure.

The floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of downtown or Lake Erie and the FirstEnergy Stadium, home to National Football League’s Cleveland Browns.

A walk-in tiled shower, large work space, comfortable seating and a flatscreen TV in the smoke-free rooms add to a guest’s comfort and satisfaction.

Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, coffee maker, mini-fridge, iron, ironing board, safe and plenty of towels and toiletries.

Wireless Internet is complimentary in the lobby and public areas, but there is a 12.95 USD charge in the individual rooms. There is also a charge for parking.

Convenience in a prime location

Many large corporations, banks and governmental departments have headquarters within a few blocks of this Westin, making it a great place for business travelers. Major sports stadiums are also within a short walk, so avid fans can make their way to and from games quickly and easily. In addition to the FirstEnergy Stadium visible from the hotel windows, Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians, can be reached by a short walk in the opposite direction.

One of Cleveland’s most popular spots for restaurants and shops, East 4th Street, is a ten-minute walk away. At least a dozen eateries are in that trendy area with a wide range of cuisines and atmospheres. A notable restaurant is The Greenhouse Tavern, where Chef Jonathon Sawyer is the owner. He was the 2015 James Beard award winner for Best Chef in the Great Lakes Region.

A perfect launching point for Cleveland's major cultural attractions

In addition to sports, Cleveland is also home to fabulous museums and music events. The Cleveland Orchestra was recently named the best in the United States by the New York Times, and the Cleveland Museum of Art is free to the public and filled with priceless works by world-renowned masters.

Within a few blocks in almost any direction from the hotel, guests can find parks and green spaces for enjoying nature in the middle of the city.

For arrivals and departures, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is less than a half-hour Uber ride away.

Unbeatable location, comfort and staff

The Westin Cleveland Downtown is a great find for guests needing such a location, wanting a great night’s sleep and appreciating first class service from the hotel staff. I spent several nights there recently. I loved being able to get to points of interest quickly and on foot. I relished the comfortable bed, chairs and bathroom, and I particularly appreciated having my needs anticipated and met by very friendly staff members.
