Things to do
Ride a backwards roller coaster
Step onboard ‘Recoil,’ India’s first reverse looping roller coaster, and experience going backwards in a roller coaster! Imported from the Netherlands, this ride can attain speeds of up to 80 kmph (49.7 mph) in one second before doing a roll and going through a loop, then climbing up another ramp at high speeds and suddenly going back on the same tracks all over again! This is certainly one high-tech roller coaster!
Feel weightless in a unique water slide
Another must-try ride at this park is ‘Korneto’, a high-thrill water slide attraction. In this water ride, riders slide down a steep tunnel at speeds of 35kmph (21.7 mph) into the gaping mouth of a funnel-shaped slide. Riders oscillate back and forth and experience a few moments of weightlessness while shifting from the tunnel to the funnel before ending the ride in a splash pool at the bottom.
Experience the insane movements of the 'Insanity' ride!
Aptly titled ‘Insanity’, this ride at Wonderla Amusement Park is definitely not for the faint of the heart. It consists of a massive squid-like machine with four giant tentacle-y arms which have capsules attached to them. Riders are strapped inside these capsules and when the ride begins, the machine begins to twist, turn and swivel the capsules in every possible direction, in completely random order. This insane ride will surely make you scream with every twist and turn.
