Get lost in the city’s architecture

For the history buff in the group, there is an abundance of historical sites and monuments to get you lost in the 18th Century. A very obvious monument is the famous Liberty Bell, located on 6th St & Market St., directly on the Independence Mall. Take in the history at your own leisure, or you can opt for a guided tour. While in the area, don’t forget to take a stroll past Independence Hall, an ode to America’s founding fathers and the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence.

Take a stroll down market street to do some shopping and pick up a cheesesteak at Steve’s Prince of Steaks. The locals recommend always going for the “Wiz” as opposed to traditional cheese. “Wiz” refers to artificial or processed cheese.
