Inside, you can enjoy the traditional wood fire, small kitchenette, seating zone, and queen size camp bed. There is also a separate single bed should you need the extra sleeping space. The outdoor pit toilet is less than 100 yards (91 meters) from the yurt. Located 45 minutes south of Moab, this yurt is about a 2-hour and 15-minute drive from Goblin Valley State Park.

If you are looking to experience a more traditional way of life, then this 24 ft (7.3 meters) in diameter yurt might be your ideal base. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and is perfect for getting ‘hands on’ with nature. The wood burning stove will keep you warm in the winter months and you’ll need to be ready to prepare your own firewood if you are staying during spring. There is a small kitchenette that is equipped with cooking equipment and utensils. There is also an outdoor pit toilet and bucket-shower, which can be heated. It is worth noting that although just a short walk from the country road, during the winter months you will need an all-wheel drive vehicle to ensure that you don’t get stuck! This yurt is a 2.5-hour drive from Goblin Valley State Park.

peace tree in town is a great cafe their breakfast rocks and they have wifi
it was a cozy sleep under one of the most stunning star filled nights i have witnessed
it is so quiet and the view from behind the toilet house is nice
the bed slept perfect but the sofa bed needs some upgrades
i wasn’t a big fan of the outhouse being so far from the yurt
