It is best to visit Clarke Quay after 5pm to enjoy the Singapore River BumBoat Cruise and the nightlife. For the adventurers, do try the GX-5 EXTREME SWING & TRAMPOLINE BUNGY if you dare to.

For Crabs or seafood lovers, you should visit Jumbo Seafoods @ The Riverwalk ( Address: 20 Upper Circular Road, #B1-48, The Riverwalk, Singapore 058416.  Tel : 6534-3435).  This is  my  yearly regular seafoods restaurant that i had my Crab-licious Seafoods fix.  I always ordered their Award Winning Singapore Chilli Crabs with Fried Mantou or Signature Black Pepper Crabs (SGD98 per kg for Sri Lanka Crabs).  Their crabs are fresh and meaty.   Another dish you should order is the Homemade Vegetables Beancurd Braised with fresh mushrooms (SGD14). The Beancurd is soft and silky.

It is advisable to spend 1 day around Marina Bay Sands vicinity.  You can visit Garden by the Bay,  Sky Park Observation Deck, Casino, Shop and Dine at MBS/Esplanade/Suntec City. What i enjoyed most is the Spectra – A Light & Water Show (Daily 8pm and 9pm at Event Plaza. Free Entry) and the Digital Light Canvas performance.  Sharing with you, the beauty of Marina Bay Sands at different timing and occasions.

Sentosa Merlion is closed for good.  It will be demolished to make way for the new theme linkway between the north and south shore of Sentosa.

Chinatown is a must visit place.  There are plenty of things to do here, eat, shop, wet market and temple visiting.  The best time to visit Chinatown is in the morning, where you get to see the unique of the wet market (selling live fishes and frogs), the opening of Mountain Gate at 7am at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum.  Many choices for hawker foods within this area.  These are my three favourite Hawker Centre:

3) Maxwell Food Centre

The picture above is Marina Bay Sands and not Esplanade.  Esplanade is a spiky twin-domes building, and sometimes we like to name it as Durians, as the outlook design is spiky and rounded which looks like durians.

The best time to walk along the Esplanade Waterfront is during the sunset hour or blue hour where you get to see the setting down of the sun and get to see the gradual light up of the scenic Esplanade and City landscape.  

When you're in the Somerset area, visit Vanda Botanical Desserts at  313@somerset and Takashimaya. Newly opened in December 2022, Vanda Botanical Desserts on Orchard Road sells exotic ice cream flavors wrapped in thin Mochi skin, giving it the added chewy and stretchable texture. I simply can't resist the temptation, especially in hot weather.

Seafood lovers should head to Holy Grill, located at Old Airport Road Hawker Centre. This salmon set costs $12.80, and serves fresh salmon that's usually sold out before 7pm! 

Another gorgeous but lesser known place to view gorgeous sunsets would be from the Raffles Marina Lighthouse. The place also overlooks Tuas Second Link, which is actually a causeway to Malaysia!

If you stay here, you'll be close to ION Orchard, so you can sit back and chill with some brunch @ LE MATIN PATISSERIE, a fine dining cafe.

Tips: Simply flash any same-day receipt of minimum $50 spend from ION Orchard and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink at ION Sky from 1-Atico Lounge between 12pm – 4pm.* Currently, the Lounge is under renovation.

It is located at 56th floor with a 360 degree view of Orchard Road and all the way to the farthest - State of Johor, Malaysia.

When you're done shopping, there's a TWG 1837 TEA at ION, a nice cafe to hang out in. Yuzu Mango cake with Vanilla Black Tea.
