1. Merlion Park

The Merlion Park near the CBD is one of the major tourist attractions in Singapore and it overlooks the picturesque Marina Bay. It is home to the iconic Merlion statue of a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish – which is 8.6 meters (28.2 feet) tall. 2. Helix Bridge

This famous pedestrian bridge in Singapore is perfect for soaking in aerial views of the Marina Bay. 3. Marina Barrage

4. Cavenagh Bridge

This popular landmark in Singapore holds the distinction of being one of the oldest bridges in the city. You can go for a leisurely stroll on the Cavenagh Bridge, a suspension bridge which is built over the Singapore River. The Cavenagh Bridge is all lit up at night and looks pretty. You can gaze at the boats and ferries below this pedestrian bridge and watch the reflection of the lights twinkling in the water. 5. City Hall

The City Hall building in Singapore is one of its national monuments and this historical building is in the Downtown Core. This popular landmark lies opposite Padang and it is next to the Supreme Court. You can marvel at the intricate architecture of the building, which is perfect for some Instagram-worthy picture. Walk around the lively area to soak in the city’s atmosphere or head to the Raffles City Shopping Centre or Adelphi for some shopping! 7. Raffles Landing Site

This iconic site in Singapore is where, according to lore, its founder Sir Stamford Raffles landed in 1819. Raffles Landing Site is situated in Singapore’s CBD at the Boat Quay. A statue of the founder, which is made of poly-marble, denotes the site. This statue is on Singapore River’s north bank side. 9. The Esplanade
