Catherine has written professionally for over 10 years, and a sizable amount has been travel writing. Her desire to see the world was sparked at a very young age. Growing up, there were many family road trips to places such as Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. Moreover, her grandfather traveled extensively, so she grew up listening to his exciting tales and cherishing the souvenirs he brought back. In her adult travels, Catherine has dined on lasagne in Rome, Italy, and noshed on street tacos in Juarez, Mexico. She has driven a Porsche up the Pacific Coast Highway in California and ridden a ferry boat through the canals of Venice, Italy. She's also been spellbound by the Grand Canyon and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Home is always a welcome feeling for Catherine, but she's always asking, "What's next?" not long after her return.
