1. Dou Brew Coffee & Craft

Grab a drink in this small cafe tucked inside the narrow streets of Phuket’s Old Town, lined with traditional shophouses and temples. With its plain wooden tables and display cabinets, vintage photographs hung on walls and a low-lit interior, Dou Brew is a perfect spot - providing patrons with a welcome relief from the urban tensions. The choice goes from traditional Thai Milk Tea, classic espresso decorated with a rosette design and a newly-introduced Nitro Cold Brew (iced coffee infused with nitrogen).

One of the most popular must-visit cafés in Phuket, Bookhemian, as its name suggests, is a café-cum-mini bookstore with stacks of reads lining the walls of the eatery. Covering a wide spectrum of materials ranging from Thai novels to art magazines, patrons can spend a relaxing afternoon here browsing through the collection with a cuppa, before deciding if they would like to purchase any books home as a souvenir. In addition, when you thought the café couldn’t get hipster enough, the 2nd level is equipped with a mini cinema! Films are occasionally screened here with tickets going at only 100 THB (2.8 USD), we’d highly recommend patrons to check out their schedules and snap up tickets quickly! Last, but definitely not least, the menu! Bookhemian offers patrons a very decent selection of pastries, such as quiche and croissants, while the Picollo Latte is highly recommended for a reasonable price.

The idea of expanding the store into a café developed when the owners begun serving customers cakes and coffee while they waited for their computers to be fixed, gaining more popularity and attention to their desserts and drinks. Nowadays, Mac-Chiato House & Cakebox runs as a full-fledged café serving its signature desserts Honey Toast and Banana Cake, which patrons can enjoy in a friendly and welcoming ambiance.

Rider Café is the perfect location for biking enthusiasts to meet up and have a chat or two about their hobby and passion for bikes as the café has several affiliations to bike rental companies and clubs where tourists can rent a Harley Davidson for 4000 THB (113 USD) a day.
