Also referred to as Turtle Beach, Ocho Rios Bay Beach is by far the largest and most popular beach on the north coast. Ocho Rios serves as a port town and it has a cruise ship harbor. This means that when a ship docks, the area is usually flooding with tourist. Some of them would want to swim and cool off in the clear, blue water of the sea. You will also find several resorts in that area with many of the tourists living there attracted by the beach. Locals also visit the beach to collect seashells and interact with tourists. People come to participate in kayaking and snorkeling among other water sport activities.
