Located in the heart of the island of Sicily, Italy, in the village of Caltanissetta, Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi is a family property with 20 apartments surrounded by a beautiful garden. The small restaurant just next door offers the best home-cooked food in town. The owner of the property cooks Sicilian delicacies, and you’ll find something new on the menu every day. Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi is a lovely place to stay if you want to mix with the locals and have a calm and relaxed stay in a rustic atmosphere.

Big rustic apartments with every comfort at Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi

All of the apartments at Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi are quite big; they have a private bathroom with a shower, a sofa bed and a kitchenette. An LCD television is provided in every apartment and there is an air-conditioning system. The kitchenette has all the cutlery necessary for cooking, an oven, a fridge and a microwave. Rooms are very comfortable and are decorated in a rustic style with warm terracotta colors making you feel relaxed. The combination of a wooden ceiling and stonewalls is something really nice. Towels and free Wi-Fi are provided.

Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am in the restaurant next door, which also belongs to the bed & breakfast. The Sicilian woman who owns the bed & breakfast prepares a nice breakfast including cookies, bread, cheese, ham and handmade marmalade daily. The coffee is aromatic and strong. In case you want to try their lunch, I totally recommend it as they serve traditional Sicilian food and the lunch menu changes every day. You can make prior arrangement to include lunch in the price of your accommodation.

Enjoy the open-air space & garden area

A beautiful private patio is outside of every room, and you can step into a beautiful garden with colourful flowers, stairs and flower pots. Big rock tables with chairs are located in the garden and you can take your time to relax , socialize with the other visitors, or even choose to have your breakfast or lunch there.

Just a breath away from all main sights

Caltanissetta may not be such a big city, however, Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi is just in the historic center of it. You can walk to everywhere from the property. Piazza Garibaldi, the main square where the church of San Sebastiano and the Church of Santa Maria la Nova – the Cathedral of the city – are located, is only a 5-minute walk from the apartments. The bus and train station are also located a 5 minute walking from the bed & breakfast. Bars, restaurants and the main shopping street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, are no more than a 10-minute walk.

Warm hospitality and Sicilian taste at Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi

Bed & Breakfast Antichi Ricordi is one of the best B&B properties in Caltanissetta that offers quality accommodation at reasonable prices. Taste the handmade delicacies of the owner who cooks a different Sicilian dish every day at the restaurant next door. Explore the city sights that are located only a short walk from the bed & breakfast. Make sure you book early, as this accommodation is highly sought after and its 20 apartments are often booked in advance.
