If you’re looking to pair cheese with Dutch wine or coffee and cake, I would definitely recommend heading to Petit Gateau. In my opinion, it is the best French patisserie in the city and has a cozy setting. Some other delicious options here include Peer Amandee, Abrikoos Pistache, Rood Fruit Crumble, and much more.

De Koffieschenkerij offers a tasty coffee experience inside Amsterdam’s oldest church. The church sits in the middle of narrow alleyways, offering a unique space. The old church dates back to 1306, so it is truly a piece of Amsterdam’s history. The coffee shop is open seven days a week, with an alluring, tasty menu. Bocca Coffee was the first specialty coffee roaster in the Netherlands to handle the entire process of bean to cup. They source their own beans, roast their own beans, package their own beans, and, best of all, serve them! Bocca Coffee is available in a wide array of coffee shops in Amsterdam and beyond. But people can also enjoy it right here in its own shop! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, offering a great place to relax or even get a little work done.

Back to Black is not just a coffee bar, but also a roastery. The high-quality coffee that guests enjoy here is produced sustainably. Owners of Back to Black met when they were just children, dreaming someday of opening their own shop. In all their decisions, they carefully consider the ingredients, trying to make as many things as possible themselves so as to be sure that quality ingredients are always being used. The bakery is small, but it produces plenty of delicious treats. The coffee here is great and the atmosphere is friendly. It is a rather small cafe, so it can be quite crowded. But definitely worth a stop for some freshly baked treats.
