This is a wonderful place, especially for meat lovers. The selection of grilled meat is wide and very well cooked. The restaurant is placed right next to the stadium, so you can even combine the visit to the restaurant with watching a local football game. The owner often takes the time to interact with the customers and introduce them to local culture.

Not the most Slovenian restaurant in town, but this is the place to go to if you’re craving hamburgers or ribs or both. With an American style touch, Stari Pisker offers its customers good food in a nice environment. It’s also a good choice for a quick lunch, in between visiting different touristic objectives. In summer, it’s a good place to hang out in the evening for a drink, making good use of the outdoor area.
