Recently opened, restaurant WERK is strategically located right across from the main touristic attraction of Hunedoara; the Corvinilor Castle. It is mostly caters to tourists but is highly appreciated among locals as well. They serve a wide selection of both Romanian and international cuisine. The staff is friendly and helpful, always trying to provide the customers with the best service. Even if you’re not hungry, you can have a quick coffee break here as the ambiance is very pleasant. And if you do only go for a coffee, don’t hesitate to order one of their wonderful cakes as well.

At Motel Cinciș you can enjoy both a good meal and a wonderful view. You can even go for a swim in the lake before or after your meal. It is located right on the shore of Cinciș Lake. It is one of the oldest hotel and restaurant in the area, and you can find many traditional Romanian dishes here. Be sure to try out the knock-out desert called ”papanași”.

It might not be the best place for a romantic dinner, but it is extremely suited for backpackers or travelers on a budget.
