Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary is a great place to come and experience up close encounters with native Australian wildlife. Hold a cuddly koala. Feed a saltwater croc. Encounter a possum or echidna. Go on an exclusive tour behind the scenes and interact with the wild birds while learning about the training and rehabilitation centers. This centre allows the unique ability to get up close to some of Australia’s most famous wildlife, offering a more special experience than most zoos. Beyond the animal encounters, you can embark on a wildlife sanctuary tour, taken place on Segway. The tour begins with a ten minute training on how to maneuver on your device before starting a 40 minute journey. You will ride around the rainforest and eucalyptus trees in a memorable way. If the thrills of a Segway were not enough you can explore the trees by ziplines. The park offers over 80 ziplines (some of them positioned over the crocodiles) that take you throughout the park. A visit to this wildlife sanctuary offers ways to view the wildlife unlike most zoos, making a visit one that will be hard to forget.
