It talks about the growth of this tradition and how it has been handed down from generation to generation. For visitors, this is such a unique experience since it’s the only facility in Central New York of its kind. Even more, it talks more about New York and the history of the Onondaga Nation, which plays a significant role to date. This center also helps visitors understand the Haudenosaunee and how their growth of language, culture, and oral history traits evolved to modern-day life.

This beautifully manicured garden comes with an array of things that will give you a wonderful time unwinding. There is a brick stage with a roof where local bands host concerts quite often. You can come with chairs or sit on the lawn in front of the stage as you enjoy your picnic and some soothing music. There are clean washrooms and ample parking around the park. You can bring the kids though they may be bored sitting around since there is not much space here to play. If you have to come with small children, you need to be on the lookout because there is a lot of traffic around the park.

Hopkins Road Park is a nice park with expansive green fields and a baseball field with benches and a concession stand. If you are looking for a place to spend some time unwinding with your family in an open setting, this is the ultimate place to do that. In addition, it has five softball fields that are well maintained and there are protection screens for the pitchers. If you are feeling hungry and would like to grab a bit, there is a concession stand just nearby, where they serve hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fries and many other snacks. There is ample parking so you don’t have to worry about where you will leave your car when there is a tournament.
