6. Babylon Town Hall Park
Babylon Town Hall was formerly known as Town of Babylon Old Town Hall. It is a historic town hall in Suffolk County. It had a 2 and a half story amazing revival style building with a unique low roof. The building is shaped rectangular. There is an attractive cupola at the center of the roof and even a surreal two story portico with around four columns. There is also a beautiful historical marker near the Babylon Town Hall.

7. Visit the Fox Island

This island is located south of Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst, and it is located close to Bamboo Island. As this place is only accessible by boat you will have to rent your own boat and voyage on this beautiful island amongst the natural habitats. 8. Lindenhurst Memorial Library

This is a special place to get lost amongst the racks of books. The Lindenhurst Memorial Library is committed to helping youngsters gain intellectual freedom. The Lindenhurst Memorial Library, which is also known as LML, is one of the fifty-six libraries which are part of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System.
The LML also has an ongoing project which designed and installed a series of Lexan protected stained glass memorial windows, to reinforce the message that LML doesn’t want to forget the veterans. The LML also had bought two hundred and thirty blue and fifteen engraved gold stars to honor veterans. The motto reads, “For Those Who Served”. 9. Venetian Shores Park

The Venetian Shores Park is located in Granada Pkwy in Lindenhurst village. The Venetian Shores Park has an interactive spray park and a huge playground for kids to play. The picnic area has a nice little place for enjoying snacks with the kids. There are food services and also swimming facilities are available for everyone.
The only thing to remember is that this is a resident only beach and requires a Resident Recreation Permit for entrance. So make sure to prepare arrangements for that well in advance before visiting.

10. Gilgo State Park

Gilgo State Park is an undeveloped state park in Gilgo Beach, Suffolk County. The park is located on Jones Beach Island, which is a barrier island off the southern shore of Long Island. Access to the park is only possible through a car and it requires a permit to enter. There are some breathtaking views here. The Gilgo State Park is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the waves of the ocean in front. There are abundant options for fishing, as there are various species of fish such as bass and bluefish in the Atlantic Ocean.
For a lot of years, the locals have crossed the Great South Bay, anchored and walked south to the ocean beach called the famous “Hemlocks Beach”. The place has a few special specification to follow. As it is an undeveloped park the visitors should take back whatever they have brought with them, as the place has no washrooms or garbage disposal systems. The park plans to be a wildlife reserve to preserve the habitat for piping plovers and seabeach amaranths. Swimming and pets are not allowed here. Spend an entire day at this quiet and beautiful place!
