Situated in North Myrtle Beach, just a short commute away from Little River’s city limits, this terrific haven for all manners of reptiles is sure to be a showstopper, especially for the kids. Considered to be the ‘Reptile Capital of the World’, this fascinating reptile enclosure is sure to keep you busy all day long. For a nominal fee (which goes to the feeding and upkeep of the preserve), you’ll be able to experience reptiles in their own natural environments and see first-hand what exactly they get up to. Between mid-April to mid-October, you will be able to take in the wonder of a live feeding show. Watching these powerful creatures tackle their dinner is indeed a sight to behold. Although alligators and crocodiles do not feed during the colder months, there is still a live handling show, which ends with a very informative lecture about these ancient beasts.
