Take a tour of Rockwall’s very own Wood Creek Brewing Company. The tours are hosted every Saturday at 3:00 pm. Beer lovers will have a great time tasting all of the different beers and learning all about the microbrewery brewery. Woodcreek offers a wide variety of different types of beers, from lagers to wheat, IPA’s and much more.
Tours and tastings aren’t the only events this microbrewery hosts - every Thursday is game night at the brewery, where beer lovers can mingle, drink and play cornhole and giant Jenga.

2. San Martino Vineyards

Here’s one for the wine lovers. Located on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard sits the San Martino Vineyard, a small, family owned vineyard that creates handcrafted wines. The beautiful backdrop of the lake makes it a popular spot for visitors to stop by and enjoy a picnic on the grounds.
Don’t forget to try one of their wines. For 10 USD per person, you can come and try five pre-selected wines at one of the San Martino’s wine tastings. The winery hosts their tastings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 1:00 to 8:30 pm, and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. The welcoming staff will answer all of your wine questions. Starting in August 2017, you will be able to attend one of their elevated wine tastings, which features their wine with specific food pairings. These events will require visitors to pre-register.
In addition to their tastings, San Martino also hosts a variety of adults only events, including live music.

3. The Harbor at Rockwall

4. Rockwall Main Street

Just like the Harbor at Rockwall, Rockwall Main Street is known for its high-end shopping and dining experiences. In addition to ample retail and dining opportunities, Rockwall Main Street hosts a weekly farmers market, where you can purchase local produce and goods. Every Saturday from 8:00 am to noon, from May through September, over 30 vendors sell their local products here.

5. Rockwall Community Play House

If you want your trip to include a play, then the Rockwall Community Play House is calling your name. This 84-seat community theater offers seven plays each season, in a small, yet intimate setting. If you’re looking for a more family friendly play, the theater also offers children’s and teen plays, as well.

6. Lake Ray Hubbard

Want to spend a beautiful day in the great outdoors? Then Lake Ray Hubbard is the perfect place to be. This 22,000-acre (8903.1-hectare) lake is one of the biggest lakes in Texas and it is the prime spot for fishing. So come out and bring your fishing gear and reel in a big one. Fishers have caught anything from hybrid striped bass, large mouth bass, channel and blue catfish, to crappies. If you’re not into fishing, the lake provides a lot of other fun activities, such as recreational boating and water skiing.
