Malibu is known for many things: its beaches (such as Zuma Beach, El Matador Beach, and Surfrider Beach), its lively shopping scene (Malibu Country Mart is a favorite of locals and tourists alike), and a destination to spot celebrities enjoying the sand and surf. Until recently, however, it was not exactly the destination for those who wanted to immerse themselves in Southern California’s food and coffee culture. That time is long gone, however, and the cafes in Malibu are now worth a visit. Check out this list to learn more about some of the best cafes in Malibu, California.

While the views have been affected by the recent fires in the area, the quality of the food hasn’t changed, so you can still expect the same delicious meals and snacks that the cafe has come to be known for, in the past years. Make sure to come as early as possible (the cafe opens at 11 am) so you don’t have to worry about dealing with long lines and limited parking space.
