Northwestern Michigan Fair Campground is open from May to October, except for two weeks in August when the fair takes place. The campground has a total of 133 sites, plus 113 group-camping locations. The campsite features a bathroom with showers, a dump station, water, and electricity. Dogs are allowed on a leash, but not in any of the buildings. Boardman River, which is a short drive away, is the go-to spot for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and tubing in the area.
